Instructions for Peer Reviewers

Submitted manuscripts, approved by the Editorial Board, are sent by Editor-in-Chief to referees for peer review.

Reviewers are chosen based on their research and/or lecturing eminence and competence in the research area in which particular submitted papers belong to.

Reviews are double-blind and confidential. There are minimum two peer reviewers or more. The final decision about publishing is made by the Editorial Board.

Reviews are conducted in a unique pattern - Peer Review Form, which is sent by the Redaction to reviewers without revealing the author’s identity.

In columns related to the papers data, Peer reviewer must fill in:

  • The Title of the submitted paper
  • Area of Research
  • Subject of Analysis
  • Methodology and Interpretation
  • Quality of Literature Used

In the Reviewer’s Conclusions section, the peer reviewer needs to check the category of the paper appropriate for the reviewed manuscript:

  • Original scientific article
  • Review article

As a final evaluation of the paper which influences it’s publishing, the peer reviewer checks one of the three following options:

  • Paper to be published as it is (optionally some nonbinding remarks can be given)
  • Paper to be published with mandatory changes with relevant explanation of mandatory changes
  • Paper should not be published with appropriate explanation.

In the suited columns, the peer reviewer is requested to fill in his/her name, surname, title, the name of the institution where he/she is employed and the date and place of the peer reviewing. These data are confidential, stay with the Redaction and are not sent to the author of the reviewed paper.

The reviewer is asked to fill the Peer Review Form accordingly to these instructions.

Your cooperation is appreciated.
