Tito en tant que touriste

La politique extérieure yougoslave et son rôle dans le Mouvement du non-alignement permettait à Josip Broz Tito de se comporter en touriste. L’objectif de ce travail est de montrer quel genre de touriste était Josip Broz Tito et quels éléments du tourisme accompagnent ses voyages. Les voyages de Tito seront contextualisés dans le tourisme aristocratique et la construction du culte de la personnalité de Tito au sein du régime politique yougoslave. Egalement seront mises en lumière les contradictions entre l’idéologie communiste dominante et le comportement du leader sacro-saint doté de caractéristiques d’un touriste capitaliste. Dans cette contradiction, les facteurs justificateurs : celui faisant de Tito un médiateur, celui de ''sa politique de paix'' et enfin le mouvement de non-alignement comme base de la plupart des voyages touristiques de Tito, se trouvent encore renforcés par l’impossibilité absolue de dénoncer publiquement les voyages touristiques de luxe aristocratique, luxe inapproprié à un leader du mouvement prolétarien et de la lutte de la classe ouvrière.
