„U bitkoin verujemo“: antropološki pristup bitkoinu kao algoritamskoj utopiji

Cilj ovog rada jeste da etnografski mapira nastanak i razvoj, kao i da pruži preliminarnu analizu jednog „obogotvorenog kripto-suverena“ – bitkoina. Bitkoin predstavlja analitički relevantan antropološki problem ne toliko kao kriptovaluta, koliko kao društveni pokret. Bitkoin, zvanično rođen 2009. godine, u izlaganju će se posmatrati kao produžetak pokreta kao što su sajferpank (cypherpunk) i kriptoanarhizam (crypto-anarchism), čijem je širenju zamah dao duh vremena: svetska ekonomska kriza 2008. godine, opadanje poverenja u finansijske i državne institucije bez jasnih i održivih alternativa koje bi ih zamenile, sistemi nadzora, opšte osećanje straha i nesigurnosti, kao i odsustvo predvidljivosti i jasnog političko-ideološkog pravca u kom se savremeno društvo kreće i u kom bi trebalo da se kreće. Ovaj rad će se osloniti na brikoliranu analitičku prizmu opšte metodologije nauka i studija nauke i tehnologije sa ciljem da preispita pretpostavku da društveni pokret okupljen oko bitkoina dodeljuje bitkoinu poverenje zbog toga što ga vidi kao ispunjenje prosvetiteljskih i modernističkih nada, unapređeno lekcijama savladanim u doba kasne modernosti, a prilagođeno savremenom, informatičkom dobu.
