Apstrakt

Posle praznika Novruz, najvažniji praznik u azerjbdžanskom folkloru, na osnovu ritualno-mitološke i etno-kulturne semantike, jeste Khidir Nabi. Zapravo, praznici Novruz i Khidir Nabi nisu razdvojeni jedan od drugog u nacionalnom kalendaru: ti praznici pripadaju različitim nivoima narodnog (folklornog) kalendara i povezani su na osnovu etno-kulturne suštine i koncepta. Oni su delovi jedinstvenog mitološkog sistema o vremenu, nezavisni su praznici i ne zamenjuju jedan drugog kao alternative. Ipak, treba primetiti da je Novruz rašireniji praznik u etno-kulturnom i geografskom smislu od Khidir Nabija.

Cilj ovog rada je da ispita ritualno-mitološku semantiku azerbejdžanskog praznika Khidir Nabi. Istraživanje je zasnovano na komparativno-istorijskom i ritualnu-mitološkom metodološkom pristupu.
