Svet izvrnut naopačke: Pandemija redefiniše globalizaciju

U ovom radu opisan je prirodni fenomen virusa nazvanog kovid-19 i kako je njegovo širenje izazvalo potres u socijalnom, kulturnom i poslovnom svetu ljudi. U svojoj analizi najpre opisujem razorni efekat iznenadnog ataka na ljudske živote i globalno tržište, nakon što ga je SZO UN klasifikovao kao pandemiju, a na kraju identifikujem određene obrasce koji se obično previđaju u postojećim raspravama ali koji otelotvoruju neke od izvučenih pouka. Daleko od romantizovanog pogleda na prirodu, ova globalna kriza pokazuje kako priroda može postati okrutna i čak pobedi u borbi s ljudima, ali istovremeno pokazuje kako se kognitivni kapaciteti svojstveni čoveku mogu suprotstaviti urođenoj prenosivosti prirode urođenom fleksibilnošću kulture. Jedna nenameravana posledica pandemije je povećana pažnja usmerena ka nauci. U radu se nastoji razjasniti šta nauka jeste a šta nije, posebno u odnosu na pandemiju. Umesto neodređenih, apstraktnih pojmova kao što su bezbednost ljudi, globalno upravljanje, multilateralnost i tako dalje, u ovoj analizi se pandemiji pristupa kao konkretnom fenomenu koji prodire u ljudske živote a koji je doveo do ponovnog usklađivanja parametara na način koji redefiniše globalizaciju.
