Ozbiljne igre: teorija u antropologiji posle 1980-ih

U tekstu se kritički razmatra razvoj savremenih antropoloških teorija u svetu, pre svega nakon ključnog rada koji je objavila Ortner (1984), kao i knjige sa simpozijuma Pisanje kultura (Clifford and Marcus 1986). Polazeći od teorije prakse Sherry Ortner, autor daje osnovne elemente za razumevanje i interpretaciju nekoliko teoretskih pravaca koji su odlučujuće uticali na razvoj antropologije u poslednjih nekoliko decenija, sa posebnim naglaskom na upotrebu koncepta kulture. Period posle 1980-ih je ujedno i period znatno veće vidljivosti drugih antropoloških tradicija, izvan tradicionalnih „centara“. Jedan deo ovih tradicija, zajedno sa određenim neo-marksističkim modifikacijama, kao i intervencijama predstavnika „dekonstrukcije“ (pre svega u Francuskoj), dodatno su uticali na preispitivanja u savremenoj antropologiji koja postepeno kulminiraju u onome što neki nazivaju „ontološkim zaokretom“ – a koji njegovi predstavnici shvataju kao nastavak teorije prakse. Autor ukazuje na neke implikacije ovog „zaokreta“, kao i na činjenicu da se ovako shvaćena antropologija opasno približava domenu pseudo-nauke.
