Sur les spécificités iconographiques de la mosaïque avec la représentation d'Аrion dans la Villa du Casale romaine (Piazza Armerina). Contribution à l'étude des représentations d'Аrion dans l'art antique

Dans ce travail l'attention est concentrée sur la représentation d'Аrion conservée sur la mosaïque monumentale au sol d'une des grandes pièces de la villa romaine représentative du Casale en Sicile du début du IVe siècle, qui est unique par certaines de ses caractéristiques (ill. 1, 2). Аrion occupe la partie centrale de la mosaïque complexe composée d'une multitude de scènes, de figures et de motifs. Le motif du dauphin est un des éléments de la scène qui rend cette composition unique. Étant donné que l'apparition du dauphin est marginalisée dans la littérature de référence, cela offre des possibilités d'effectuer des recherches spécifiques, qui présentent de manière crédible la signification de la scène. C'est pourquoi c'est à ce motif que sera consacrée l'attention qu'il mérite dans ce travail.
