Les animaux bons pour la (co)existence: réflexions théoriques sur les rapports de parenté avec les animaux familiers

Dans ce travail sont réexaminés le concept et la signification des rapports dans le cadre de ce qui est appelé le modèle occidental traditionnel de la famille avec « l’entrée » des animaux familiers perçus comme ses membres égaux. Une analyse critique de la terminologie par laquelle l’on désigne les animaux avec lesquels on vit et partage l’espace, a été effectuée dans le contexte des rapports entre les hommes et les animaux comme d’un champ de recherche important et relativement nouveau des sciences sociales et humaines, ce pourquoi, au lieu du terme « animal familier » on propose celui d’« animal de compagnie ». L’objectif de ce travail est d’analyser les principaux éléments de tels rapports, et d’essayer d’expliquer les modes de leur constitution, particulièrement de ceux avec les animaux de compagnie. Dans la conclusion du travail sera postulé le champ des rapports entre les hommes et les animaux comme des formes de rapports authentiques « de parenté » dans la société contemporaine.
