Apstrakt

U široj profesionalnoj zajednici okupljenoj oko pojma arheološkog nasleđa postoji nedvosmisleni konsenzus da je materijalne tragove važno sačuvati radi istraživanja, edukacije i prezentacije za sadašnje i buduće generacije. Rizici sa kojima se suočavamo u savremenom okruženju, klimatski, društveni i ekološki, otvaraju mnoga pitanja i u pogledu pristupa dugoročnog upravljanja lokalitetima. Dodatno, imajući u vidu raznorodnost arheoloških situacija i materijalnih ostataka sa kojima se možemo susresti u primarnom kontekstu, odluke o pristupima zaštiti ne predstavljaju jednostavan zadatak. Radi boljeg razumevanja procesa kroz koje prolaze fizički ostaci prošlosti, u radu se razmatra pojam materijalne evidencije na preseku konzervacijskih i arheoloških perspektiva. U pogledu zaštite in situ ostataka, teza koja se zastupa u ovom radu jeste da odgovore i inspiraciju u suočavanju sa aktuelnim rizicima možemo pronaći u proširenom razumevanju materijalnosti.
