Oblici manifestacije kanibalizma

U radu je predstavljena tipologija kanibalizma i njegovih oblika manifestacije. Prvo su predstavljeni endokanibalizam i egzokanibalizam, kao dva najšire određena oblika, u koje se mogu uvrstiti svi ostali tipovi. Kao posebni oblici manifestacije, koji uključuju ritualnu dimenziju, izdvojeni su pogrebni kanibalizam i srednjovekovni kanibalizam, u sklopu rituala euharistije. Nakon toga predstavljene su karakteristike ratnog kanibalizma koji se dešavao među plemenima, ali i kao odgovor na evropsku kolonizaciju i osvajanja, u vidu ratnih antikolonijalističkih pokreta. Posebno je opisana medicinska i farmaceutska kanibalistička praksa koja se pojavila u srednjovekovnoj Evropi i koja se zasnivala na verovanjima u lekovitost ljudske krvi i delova tela. U sklopu ove prakse, izdvojila se tradicija lečenja mumijama i postala veoma popularna u srednjovekovnoj Evropi.
