Istražujući Limb: iskustvo gubitka posla i nezaposlenosti u jednom zlatarskom gradu u Italiji

Apstrakt

Članak se bavi iskustvom gubitka zaposlenja i nezaposlenošću koja sledi. Zasnovan je na etnografskom istraživanju sprovedenom u Valenci u Italiji između 2008 i 2012 godine, i dovodi u pitanje interpretaciju nezaposlenosti kao liminalne faze. Moj argument je da bivši radnici nezaposlenost doživljavaju kao 'Limb' – stanje postojanja poduprto ambigvitetom bivanja i ne-bivanja radnikom u isto vreme. Istraživanje ovog 'Limba' baca svetlost na emotivni, fizički i simbolički rad koji otpušteni radnici preduzimaju suočavajući se sa novim stanjem u kojem se nalaze. Ovo istraživanje nudi elemente za tumačenje gubitka posla kao izlaska iz zajednice praksi i istraživanje načina na koje pojedinci pregovaraju i izlaze s time na kraj.
