Pseudo-histoire/archéologie et mondialisation : l’exemple de l’espace ex-Yu

Dans ce travail est discutée la corrélation du processus de mondialisation et des interprétations pseudo-scientifiques du passé. C’est le double lien entre les effets du processus de mondialisation et de l’invention pseudo-historique/pseudo-archéologique du passé qui a ici été mis en valeur. La première tendance est de compenser le mécontentement provoqué par la mondialisation culturelle par la foi en un passé différent et plus beau, alors que la seconde concerne l’utilisation des moyens de communication dans la transmission des interprétations pseudo-scientifiques du passé à un large public. À l’aide des exemples du territoire de l’ex-Yougoslavie on a démontré que le processus de transition vers la société globale, survenu après la période de culmination des nationalismes, contribue au sentiment de la crise des identités nationales, régionales et locales et fait naître l’aspiration à la création des passés inventés. L’attention a également été attirée sur le fait que les pseudo-historiens et les pseudo-archéologues utilisent abondamment les moyens globaux de communication massive, avant tout l’internet, en rendant ainsi leurs interprétations accessibles à un grand nombre de gens et menaçant de devenir l’une des principales (bien qu’erronées) sources de la formation des attitudes sur le passé et le présent.
