L’article traite les représentations sur la nourriture et l’alimentation dans les films de post-apocalypse. La nourriture/l’alimentation dans ces films fonctionne comme une métaphore à l’aide de laquelle l’on représente la future régression de la civilisation humaine à des étapes de développement antérieures supposées. La nourriture dans ces œuvres devient ainsi un symbole puissant, elle sert à tracer la frontière (tout en représentant un médiateur) entre l’ordre (civilisation) et le chaos (la société post-apocalyptique de l’avenir), à fixer l’opposition entre nous (nous, les hommes) et les autres (eux, les non-hommes). Les questions posées dans l’article sont les suivantes : quelle est la nourriture décrite par la langue de la fin du monde et dans quels rapports sociaux les hommes s’engagent par l’utilisation de la nourriture dans un tel environnement, quelles sont les craintes liées à la nourriture d’aujourd’hui façonnées dans la fiction et exprimées à l’aide du médium cinématographique de science-fiction, etc. Par la considération des scènes cinématographiques d’alimentation dans les œuvres choisies se distingueront des thèmes récurrents en relation avec la nourriture, c’est-à-dire que seront examinés les modèles d’alimentation communs aux films post-apocalyptiques et dont la finalité/ l’objectif est de signaler „l’altérité“ de l’avenir.
